FINALLY, the XIAMEN post!

Sorry i took 10 days, lol!
Didnt take me as long as i had expected to post these photos! :)

Day 1 - Trip to Gulangyu & Piano Museum

Woke up around 3.15 due to my alarm,
surprisingly i managed to slp 3h even though i was so excited

Swiss Flames morning call at 4am.
Prepared a little moree, then headed for airport.

V little cars on the road at 4.30am in the morning!
So we reached in 30mins, and ate breakfast while waiting.

Tried finding Swensen's but couldn't find it.
(Wasted! I could've had swensen's in the morning for once) ):
So went to Breeks Cafe.

There were A LOT of food for a set.
Almost everything came in pairs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 hashbrowns...
Finished on time and went to find scss people on the 2nd floor.

Checked in luggage (damn ma fan my mom, long story)

Another school were there too, going on some overseas trip also i guess.
Saw alot of people's parents.
Twins and Hakimah were so lucky, their friends came too. T.T

Hahaha, but he woke up early to sms me lah!

Slacked for 1h plus, then my parents went off alr.
Went to visit shops, find seniors at Starbucks, took photos.

Miss ng was either very nervous, or easily annoyed for some reasons. (or both)

For some reason i still love this escalator or whatever you call it. lol

So much more spacious, and we can watch movies too.

Breakfast. I was still damn full T.T
I think here the bun and water taste the nicest.

Every 3 row will have to share one tv.

But many people were asleep. Not much entertainment for a 4h flight )':

Throughout the whole flight, there was long queue for the toilet.

Finally we reached Xiamen. I don't see these in spore! ):

Got our luggage and found our tourguides.

First look at Xiamen. Not bad lah, quite spacious lol

Badm shared the bus w/ basketball people for these 6 days too

Firstly we headed to a restaurant for lunch.
Muslims and vegetarians sat tgt.

The food was very oily, not really great for a restaurant, but edible.
And there was this soup none of us liked, CORN SOUP.
So we played a game, we spin circular-spinning-thingy (?) -sorry lah- and see who the ladle points at
The person would have to drink 3 spoonfuls of the soup and spin again.
We spun till everyday tried it. Eewwwww

Joker lol! Jolene had to drink twice cause she tio again. Lucky girl. 8D

"I ♥ CORNSOUP" day

After lunch, we headed to Gulangyu and had to take a ferry there.
During the bus ride, Xinsi kept singing Touch my Body by Mariah Carey.
Either that or she kept saying I like you better when you're naked (another song i think)

squeezy since we all shared seats,
but it was supersupersupersuper cooling esp when we open the windows! ^^

Finally went shopping (it was as dark as 8pm in singapore at only 5.30pm there, but it was much much much more cooling there than in singapore at night)

Shopped at 4 linked shops, but i bought nothing.
Some quite ex, some quite cheap, most of them are food and jewelleries.

Went back and headed to our hotels! *happiness*
All of us stayed on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th floors. (so damn cheap)
Most swissflamers stayed on the 3rd, ruen claire & dania stayed on the 4th.

Rieska was my room mate :)

Not bad for a standard room lo.

Took turns to bathe, wanted to meet up and play w/ other swissflamers but didnt ):
Out of 42 channels rieska & i only watch one, something like MTV asia.
I couldnt rly understand chinese too you knw lol

She slept first while i stayed up a little longer.
I hardly switched off any lights ~_~

Chatted w/ samuel and daniel using the hotel phone. (free whoohoo)

Day 2 - Another sightseeing trip.

It was getting more & more cooling by the minute.

Chose a few gifts for a very very very very long time!
Hahahaha but still, twins, ruen & i made some time to go to KFC to eat! 8D

Slacked a while more, ran around in the open space waiting for other ppl

Went back to hotel, cleaned up, then rieska & i went to huixian & judy's room to slack.

Day 3 - Full day training! 8D

Bball and badm were going diff places to train ):
So they dropped us off first, then the basketball boys went somewhr further.

This was whr we trained. There's a total of 24 courts, 12 on each side.
(Swiss only has 4 #$%^&*@#@*$#&)

Old people were training & had coaches too *wow*

We did 1h of warmups, which was quite fun lah,
but we did very little training on stokes, and we nv practiced lobbing! *happiness*
We just did stroking and drop shots.

Break time.

Stopped training at 1130, then went to have lunch w/ the bball boys & cd girls.
Went back to hotel, we could rest for 1h like that to digest the food lol.
Many people slept, but i called other people and chatted again lol.

& we rlised the aircon sucks, it was 2x as cooling along the hallway,
and 10x as cooling outside the hotel. Good thing there were windows (w/ a bad view)

Went for training again.
Ooooo could feel the ache during dinner already.

Cleaned up, and we went to hx's room again to play.
This time all the sec 2 swissflamers were here & we played blind mice!
WHOOHOO!

Super fun lah, we perspired alot.
& candy was the only one who didnt get caught!
Super pro hahahaha!

Went back to our rooms and slacked and ate some snacks.

And we rlised there was satellite dishes outside our window lol

Day 4 - Half day training, half day friendly match

Woke up and i couldnt walk.
My whole leg felt so stiff it couldnt stand straight properly nor bend too much.
It hurts like dhuadhoahfoabfeoboshfuireaafdsfsfsdfrg!~
Super pain lah, had to limp to the bathroom.

But some others had it worse, their whole body ache like what like that.
We had MANYMANYMANY problems w/ stairs, esp xinsi lol

Must be the warm up and physical training T.T

This time we got another guy to train w/ us.
He's called HAOQIAO!
Most swiss flamers super adore him! 8D
He's very adorable lah, his behaviour lol!

Went to have lunch, and xinsi was super crazy over haoqiao.

Had friendly match w/ a bunch or p2/p3s.
Most of them were guys (which were bald)

Judy & i lost our match. 15-21/13-21 (damn ps)
Both our opponents were guys, and both played singles de ma.
So the better one made the other guy stand in one corner (srsly),
while he took every single shot, unless he had to serve.

So judy & i purposely hit to the corner the smaller sized guy was stoning at,
but the taller one ran there and hit the shuttle too.
What an ass lol

But we lost. To be exact, we lost to a p2/3 singles player. That was even more embarrassing.

After my match, I pei xinsi go take paparazzi shots of Haoqiao LOL!

After that we went to the shop to buy an adidas team jacket which came tgt w/ a trackpants.
But we could only collect it the nxt day ):

Day 5 - half day training, half day CIP at village school
(aka last day of seeing HAOQIAO)

Another day of limping.

After our 3h training, which seemed like 1/2 h, we finally asked the coach if we could take photos

And then we finally knew Haoqiao's name, before that we heard wrongly since the 2nd day of training, and we called him Guang Yao -.- Until now lolllll

After that was lunch, *I miss haoqiao*

Changed w/ snrs, and sat w/ miss ng and CD girls for lunch w/ huixian & claire.

On the longlonglong 1h ride to the village school (yay time to sleep & listen to music),
we stopped by this place that we could eat free samples made up peanuts.
Not bad lah :D

On the way there were many farms, then got crops all these

Climbed up 5 storeys for a talk.
Like limping wasn't bad enough alr!

but the view was indeed great, w/ great breeze too! :)

Gathered in our groups, and w/ the china kids there.
& we played only 2 games, out of the 10 games we prepared! (basket)

They were rly afraid to mix w/ the guys hahahaha.
& Hsin Chen was great! he gave them all chocolates (i got one too!)

Then my whole head was feeling so damn cold, & i borrowed jingxian's beanie.

Went back to hotel to put our things and went to shop again! 8D
Super cold, and we just walked around separately, & i went w/ the twins,
& i bought nothing for myself! ):
Dk what to buy lah, but come to think of it should've bought so many more things.

Heard the other girls met this super cute guy while ruen & judy was buying trackshoes :)
Hahahah didnt rly meet him so i guess Haoqiao's still btr d:

Went back to hotel to clean up, and pack our luggage.
Rieska packed so damn fast! -.-

I took a whole hr till 12midnight
Damn tired alr.

Day 6 - Olympic Museum, & Home Sweet Home

After breakfast, still limping a little, and we had to drag our luggages out to the lobby. (T.T)
Headed for Olympic Museum! :)

As usual, landing made my ear hurt like #$%^&*%^&*
I think Kianhong had it worst.
